Used when encapsulating samples in cold molded acrylics and epoxies. After encapsulation, the mold is placed inside the chamber. It is then pressurized between 30-40 psi, compressing the mounting material down and around the sample, forcing air to the surface. This process reduces shrinkage and provides better clarity and edge retention. Several mounts can be cured simultaneously. Inside dimensions: 3-3/4" deep x 4-3/4" diameter.

Used to remove entrapped air when encapsulating samples in epoxy. The vacuum pulls air from the mount, displacing it with epoxy, providing complete bonding and support. This maintains sample integrity during abrasive preparation, reducing the chances of cracking or delamination.
