Peltier stages are easy to control heating and cooling stages that utilize a thermoelectric element that does not require liquid nitrogen to cool below room temperature.

There are three options described below which have a temperature controlled sample area of 35x32mm and ideally suited to temperature controlled experiments using standard 76x26mm microscope slides on upright microscopes. The sample is not sealed from the environment.

The fourth option is a gas sealed stage with two peltiers to control a horizontal linear thermal gradient in the sample.
